The wooden coffin where early settlers found human bones that measure 7-9 feet long. Hence, the name Isla Gigantes (Island of Giants).

How to get there? You can either book a flight bound for Iloilo or Capiz. Reaching the Roxas City Terminal rent a van going to Carles (if you're near Capiz). In Iloilo City, go to Tagbak Terminal in Jaro. Take a cab or jeepney (Jaro Liko Tagbak or Leganes). Rent a van, another option is the use of the public transportation, the bus going to Estancia. In our case, we rented a van going to Estancia Port which would take you 2-3 hours early in the morning. Then a pump boat took another 2 hours before we finally reached the Resort. All the resorts are in the Gigantes Sur. It's best to travel with groups of more than 10 if you're on a budget. Minimum jeepney fare would cost you around php7. Renting a van would cost around php1,500 depending on your destination. Pump boats to the Gigantes Sur are arranged by your chosen resort and they usually have packages for you and your group. It includes meals, transportation to Estancia port-Gigantes Sur and vice versa, Island hopping and Island tours that costed us around php 1500 for an overnight stay with a group of 14 persons.
