Lamurawan Beach Resort

Lamurawan Beach is a small Island in Nueva Valencia, Guimaras. It is one of the spots for the Island hopping tour in the coast of Alubihod. At the top is a grotto of the Virgin Mary over looking the seven Islands.

Getting there. From Iloilo, go to Ortiz port near the Univeristy of Iloilo-Phinma. Ride a pumpboat going to Jordan, Guimaras. Get in line, pay (php14.00), get your ticket, write your info on the clipboard sheet and search for your boat's name that's found on the ticket. It would take you around 10-15minutes. From the port, you can either rent a multicab with a fix rate of php1,500 that would take you directly to Alubihod Beach or you could go for a fun adventure by commuting. From the port, go outside for about 10meters and you could see local jeepneys named (Nueva Valencia, Pangdaraonan or to be safe just ask the information center at the port or the locals) for <php40. You'll be drop off at an intersection with a signage of Alubihod from there, take a tricycle for php25/pax to either Raymen's or Villa Igang. The Island hopping would cost around php500-750 for the first 2 hours and php100-150 for succeeding hours for 6-12pax. You have different options on where you wanted to go but choose wisely since you have limited time. Choices include: Seafdec, Pulang Pasayan, Pawikan Islnad, Baras Cave, Little Boracay, Lamurawan. Some locations are accessible depending on the tides (low and high tides). Please don't forget to bring cash with you, since some of these locations have entrance fees ranging from php20-25 but don't worry Lamurawan doesn't have an entrance fee instead it has a donation box. Enjoy one of the few Islands on the way. :)
