The annual Feast Day of Our Lady of Candles is celebrated on the 2nd day of February in Jaro, Iloilo City. Devotees from across the country graces this event. The Plaza in the Jaro district is closed during the Procession and paths are rerouted for vehicles. The main event usually takes place around 2-7pm and continuous masses are being held inside the Cathedral. It is a one day event along with the Feast/Fiesta in Jaro. Across the Cathedral is the Plaza where it held its annual Jaro Agro Industrial Charity Fair for a week. It includes garden/plants sales, clothing and accessories stalls, food stalls and carnival rides and plays.
