Garin Farm

One of the attractions in San Joaquin is the Garin Farm in the southern most part of the Iloilo Province. It was opened to the public in 2012 as a haven and leisure place for the locals and tourists. It is owned and managed by one of the well-known family in the south, headed by its family Patriarch Oscar "Oca" Garin.

Expect the foul smell of manure along the path.

It has a variety of activities from zip lining, swimming, hiking, horse back riding, ATV riding, boating and even feeding animals. They also have their own canteen, overnight rooms and function hall for any occasion.

The tranquility of the place makes it special. The Pilgrimage makes it even more meaningful and rewarding for an experience like no other. Overall it's a little escape for relaxation and peace.

Getting there. Go to Molo Terminal and ride a bus going south for php60 or to Mohon Terminal and ride a San Joaquin Jeepney for php55. Instruct the "konduktor" to drop you off the Garin Farm signage street. From there you could ride a tricycle for php15 or walk about 1.5km to the Inland Resort. Enjoy!
